Tinsel Town
Well its been a little while and ‘NO’ I didn’t fall off the radar, I have been abroad living the dream. A fair few developments have happened since my last post. Joel Parkinson took home the most coveted trophy in surfing being the Bells Beach title and I have joined forces with the good folks at Mambo clothing to usher in a new phase in my surfing career, check it out:

I have just returned home from competing in the Nike 6.0 Lowers Pro. Unfortunately I still don’t have any good news to report as I was once again left wave starved and eliminated from the event in the early stages. Never mind though cause as I have stated in previous posts, the USA is by far the funnest place to be when your knocked out of an event. Our soaring currency just set up the prospect of a mega weekend in tinsel town (Hollywood!)
The beauty of traveling for a living is the fine people you meet along the way, such as a young chap from tinsel town called Kyle. Kyle is a music agent and I have become good friends with him over the years and showed him around Oz over the Christmas/New Years break. He has been itching to return the favour, and boy did he do that. Now I will admit I would not normally rush to Kyle’s concerts but I must admit this one was awesome. Ke$ha tore the house down Friday night and then good ol P Diddy showed LA he still has it as a live performer. We got the full V.I.P treatment thanks to Kyle and I wish the night’s festivities were a little more vivid rather than just a blur. All I can say is it was fun fun fun and if I can offer advice to anyone it would be to get the States and let your hair down while price is right!!!!!
Off to Brazil next week for 2 events and I will try have the Casio camera ready to catch some shots of all the half naked women running around. Sickos!!!!
Cheers
