OAKLEY THUGGIN’
This year I’m honoured to finally be spinning at the awesome St Kilda Festival. Not only that, but I have the privilege of DJng at the crazy dope Oakley party on the rooftop of the St Kilda Sea Baths. For most of you that know me, the two brands that I rock religiously are G-Shock and Oakley. Lucky G-Shock don’t make sunglasses! I’ve been collecting Frogskins for over 5 years now… after the Supreme joints dropped in ’07 I was hooked. I did rock them back in the day but with no cash to even buy kicks, buying a fresh pair of Froggies was like starving for a year. So I’m completely stoked to be on board with another RAD brand to bring the party jams to the masses this Sunday. If you’re lucky enough to have scored an invite to this VIP event I’m sure you’ll be in fine company with high profile skaters, surfers, TV personalities and oh yes…me! Thanks to Suhana and Emily at Oakley for not only inviting me but lacing me with two new fresh pairs of Froggies! The dilemma is now to decide which ones to wear – or do I dip into the small rotation of Blades?
Oh and side note…I’ll also be rocking with the ridiculous line up at The George straight after from 7:30-8:30, so make sure you pop down for some killer brews and crunkin’ tunes!
