My homie Lacko Illustrations in UK has entered a massive competition with Talenthouse (which focuses on giving artists and creative types a shot at getting their work on a worldwide scale) to design a t-shirt for Major Lazer’s new album, inspired by their new single ‘Get Free’. When Lacko reached out to me a couple of weeks back we were complete strangers. He had found an image of Skerrit Bwoy and I while scouring the net for inspiration. What came from that image is a little homage to YO! MAFIA which you can see in the lion’s mouth below. He loved my stupid Michael Jordanesque tongue poses so much, he designed a dope illustration for myself also! Check it out below! It turned out very Santa Cruz inspired – I love it! Look for it all over walls very soon – stickers ahoy!
