INSIDE ORIGINAL FAKE TOKYO

I’m not sure if you could possibly understand what a coup this was for me to be able to take some happy snaps inside Tokyo’s ORIGINAL FAKE store! Most places in Japan won’t allow cameras instore and for good reason. With extreme emphasis on aesthetics and brilliant design, no store wants anyone jacking their ideas and concepts. It was an absolute pleasure to be able to capture some of the amazing interiors that Kaws has laid out inside the Aoyama store. Check out the attention to detail with the embossed walls, and the floor to ceiling Companion statue that greets you as you walk through the door. Massive props to Boo for looking after me and dealing with my insane trigger fingers going off like Edward Penishands! If you’re in Tokyo, make sure to visit.. it’s a little hard to find – I did a 720 degree spin trying to find where my Google Maps was pointing…just look down!
