The next generation of Gravitymaster has just been revealed – the GPW-2000 – and it is jam-packed with technological wizardry. The top of the line model will feature GPS time correction and comes with Bluetooth synchronisation capabilities. Additionally, a third time correction system has been slotted in with Multiband 6 radio signal detection. If you’re a high-flyer then you can’t beat that for time zone adaptability.
G-Shock have also taken the opportunity to overhaul just about every aspect of the GPW. To enhance its Triple G Resist structure, the watch has a new band fixing structure with additional components made from carbon fibre and resin. It’s also equipped with a carbon fibre second hand and band insert, with anti-reflective coating sapphire glass covering the multi-dial face. The final flourish on the symphony of firsts is the new double disc display, which provides an analogue display for electronically controlled date and compass features.
